Hatay is one of the earthquake that affected 11 cities in Turkey as the disaster of the century

Since 06.02.2023 As a partner of this project, we have been experiencing the pain, absence and homelessness of the earthquake disaster.

I hope we will be happy both by raising awareness about our environment and climate and by finding morale in this mobility we will do to Italy.

I will give you brief information about Hatay before and after the earthquake. I apologize in advance if I upset you with me.

It is a city with remnants of civilization dating back thousands of years. It has been destroyed many times throughout history by earthquakes, just like today.

It was the most beautiful place to live for us with its historical texture, natural beauties and tolerant people. Unfortunately, after the earthquake, it is not possible to live there. Living conditions are very difficult, water, the most basic need, is worth gold there today. Since the damaged buildings of the whole city are also being demolished, there is no air left to breathe with aspest. The situation remains the same as of today.

Therefore, we all had to come to Italy from different provinces today. Although we are already very sorry that we will not be able to host you in Hatay, I also have good news. We are planning to host in Izmir, one of the biggest cities of Türkiye.
